You Are Not Alone
Do you suffer in silence with an addiction, compulsion or some type of unhealthy attachment and feel you need help?
Then, please consider joining us at Catholic in Recovery CIR (A 12-Step Program tied to the Sacraments of the Church) whose sole purpose is to help each other find healing from any type of addiction, compulsion, or unhealthy attachment. We meet every Monday evening at the Church library between 7:45pm to 9:00pm to share our experience, strength and hope with other Catholics seeking recovery. Each weekly meeting is supplemented with a reflection that is read and participants are encouraged to share their experience, strength and hope with each other in an atmosphere of trust and confidence.
We believe that recovery is possible trough the help of the twelve-step program similar to that of Alcoholics Anonymous with the added help of the sacramental love and mercy of the Catholic Church. We supplement our personal recovery while growing in a sacramental relationship with Jesus Christ and sharing the Good News that God alone can bring healing and recovery, even in the most hopeless of cases.
