In The Bible Timeline: The Story of Salvation, presenter Jeff Cavins will show you how fourteen of the Bible’s narrative books tell the biblical story from beginning to end.
Using a unique colour-coded chart, you will learn the major people, places, and events of the Bible and discover how they all come together to reveal the remarkable story of our faith.
The Bible Timeline will teach you how to read and understand the Bible and introduce you to the wonderful narrative of the Bible in a way that will transform your life.
Study runs weekly on Tuesdays 7:45pm - 9:15pm, starting September 19, 2023 until April 30, 2024, St Augustine’s Parish Hall.
Registration: $50/person, includes 24 session course package (workbook plus one year online access)

7:45pm-7:50pm - Opening Prayer and Welcome
Opening Prayer. Opportunity to (re)connect and meet people before the session starts at 7:50pm.
7:50 PM - 8:35 PM - Video
We will watch a video together taking us through sections of the Bible.
8:35 PM - 8:55 PM - Table Discussion
We will break out in small groups to discuss the video and key questions.
8:55 PM - 9:10 PM - Re-cap and Closing Prayer
Closing prayer and what to expect at the next session including homework.
FAQs
Do I need to bring a bible and which bible do you recommend?
Please bring your Catholic Bible (Revised Standard Version, New Revised Standard Version, first or second Catholic Edition). If you do not have one, please let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
Is there parking?
There is garage parking in the building and 2 hour free street parking along 7th Avenue and Maple Street.
Is there transportation?
Please let us know if you need a ride to and from Bible Study; or whether you would like someone to walk with you. We will find someone for you.
Can I bring a friend?
Everyone is welcome. We do ask that everyone register in order to ensure the correct number of workbooks are ordered, and everyone receives access to the online Bible Timeline.
Is there a pre-requisite before joining the course?
Only your willingness to more deeply understand God's Word is required. If at any time you are feeling challenged, please reach out to us and we will be happy to arrange 1:1 time to clarify any points.
