Lectors proclaim the Word of God clearly and understandably so that all who hear may respond. Lectors are needed at Mass and other liturgical services. They are encouraged to read scripture in a clear and meaningful way so that everyone can hear and understand what is being said. No experience is necessary, as training can be provided.
