To address ongoing parking concerns in our neighbourhood, for a one month trial basis starting Sunday, October 13, 2024, the St. Augustine School courtyard will be open from 8:30 AM to 1:00 pm to permit pa-rishioners to park on Sunday mornings. To ensure the success of this trial, please note the following: • Parking is permitted for parishioners only while attending the Parish. 

• To respect volunteer time, vehicles must exit the courtyard no later than 1:00 pm. On Pancake Breakfast days, by 1:30 pm. 

• Vehicles not removed by the times noted above, and all unauthorized vehicles, will be towed. 

• Drivers are asked to use care to avoid damage to school equipment (basketball hoops, etc). 

• Use of all School playground equipment, including the Mary Garden, is prohibited. 

• Parking is at your own risk and the School and Parish are not respon-sible for personal injury, loss of or damage to vehicles or contents. 

The School courtyard is private property and may monitored by video surveillance. At the end of the trial, the School and Parish will review the success of the program and compliance with the above policies to determine whether to make the courtyard available year round.

The City has received complaints about parking in our neighbourhood, particularly during church services and events. As a result, they kindly ask for our cooperation in adhering to parking restrictions. 

While parking can be tough, let's prioritize community stewardship and respect for our neighbours. Familiarize yourself with local parking rules, avoiding restricted areas and driveway blockage.
